Stony Mill students in grades PreK-2 learned all about fire prevention and fire safety on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Brosville Volunteer Fire Department members encouraged students to make sure their families have an exit plan made. They also encouraged students to practice the plan in order to be better prepared in case of an emergency. One of our teachers, Mrs. Lauren Bunn, dressed up in the turn-out gear to show students to not be scared of fire fighters if they encounter one. Students also got to tour the fire trucks and learn more about what tools are carried on the trucks. Thanks to BVFD for such a great program for our students!
