STEM Night at Stony Mill
Posted on 03/01/2019
Stony Mill Elementary School held STEM Night on February 7, 2019. This was held in conjunction with our annual STEM Fair. Students and parents had an opportunity to view STEM Fair projects completed by students in grades K-5. In addition to this, teachers along with students from Tunstall’s Interact Club, planned and conducted hands-on science experiments and engineering activities for families to enjoy. Coding activities were demonstrated to parents and students by Mrs. Amy Baynes, ITRT, in our computer lab. It was a fun night had by all!

The gym was packed with STEM Fair projects completed by the students. Congratulations to the following students in grades 3-5 for being finalists in the STEM Fair. Grade 3: Morgan Amburn, Jude Reece, Gabriel Ingram, Isaac Van Allen; Grade 4: Jadelyn Holder, Clara Mills, Robbie Rossman, Holden Merricks; Grade 5: Leah Wyatt, Bella Williamson, Madeleine Jones, Brycen Weatherford
